Hurricane GUSTAV Private Security and Crisis Managers Support in Gulf Coast Region

This email is to inform you that Strategic Security Corp. is actively monitoring Hurricane GUSTAV.

Strategic Security Corp. has PRIVATE ARMED SECURITY AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT teams standing by to deploy to the Gulf Coast Region in the aftermath of Hurricane GUSTAV.

The recent passing of the Local Preparedness Act on June 10, 2008, would allow state and local governments to have cooperative purchasing power of the GSA Schedule 84. The bill allows state and local governments and authorities under these governments, to purchase security guards, technologies and surveys off the GSA schedule, providing a discounted cost to those entities.

Strategic Security Corp. can mobilize our crisis response teams to support those trapped in the Gulf Coast Region and assist clients in the recovery efforts of Hurricane Gustav. We regularly establish mobile command post and incident management team to support our emergency management operations. We can deploy our security subject experts whom are either active or retired members of elite agencies within the intelligence gathering, law enforcement and public safety community to affected regions where they will assess the state of security and safety at designated client locations, identify ingress and egress routes, provide and coordinate critical supplies and resources such as fuel and food, and implement contingency plans to evacuate people as requested. In addition to the incident management team, several Protective Security Teams can be activated to travel into regions affected by the hurricane to protect client personnel and to help secure assets. To support the logistics and movement of personnel and supplies, dedicated air assets, consisting of helicopters, are standing by, as well as fuel trucks and buses to transport victims of the hurricane.

At a time when the Red Cross and FEMA are staged outside of the affected regions awaiting confirmation we can safely get into the city; when fuel sources have been depleted and emergency generators are failing, when the downtown area has been cut off from food supplies; when people are trapped in buildings and unable to evacuate on their own, Strategic Security Corp. has the ability to proactively support clients during a crisis.

Strategic Security Corp. is supporting in the stability and recovery effort through its 24/7 Emergency Operations Center, coordination with its Incident Management Teams in the field, and through the support of logistics, safety, security, and crisis management staff deployed to client locations.
